SAVE $10: As of Sept. 28, the all-new Apple TV 4K (32GB) is on sale for $169 at Walmart and Amazon. That’s 6% off its $179 MSRP.
If you didn’t think Apple TV+ was the best streaming service for star-studded originals *before* the Finch and Macbeth hammers dropped… well, perhaps you’ve changed your mind by now. (Frances McDormand hive, assemble!)
Most media players natively support the Apple TV app nowadays, though few are as nice as the all-new Apple TV 4K from this past spring, which features high frame rate HDR, Dolby Vision video, and an extremely responsive interface.
It’s among the priciest streamers out there, so grab it on sale while you can: At the time of writing, Walmart and Amazon both had the 32GB base model on sale for $169 — that’s about 6% off its $179 MSRP, which is its biggest discount to date. (Meanwhile, it’s still full price at Best Buy, Target, and the Apple Store.)

The original Apple TV 4K came out way back in 2017, so this latest iteration was a long time coming. Apple added an A12 Bionic chip for a performance upgrade as well as a new color balance feature where you can optimize your TV’s picture quality using your iPhone’s light sensor.
Most importantly, it’s got a new remote that doesn’t suck: Instead of overly sensitive touchpad controls, it now has clickable directional buttons and a jog wheel. Praise be.
