ESA astronaut Matthias Maurer and his crewmates, NASA astronauts Kayla Barron, Raja Chari and Thomas Marshburn, are returning to earth soon. Before that happens, they decided to check our their spacesuits – and put on the waltz.

Extremely cute footage from their mission to the International Space Station has emerged on Twitter, where Maurer posted the video, writing, “We call this the ‘suit fit waltz’.”

“I think I might miss microgravity and these antics with @Astro_Raja, @AstroMarshburn & Kayla.”

The astronauts are shown in their custom-made space suits. A single connection point on the suit, placed at the thigh, connects the spacesuits and the astronaut to the life support system that supplies oxygen, power, and cooling and communication systems. Other features of the suit include touchscreen-compatible gloves and custom-manufactured helmets, using 3D technology.

“Cosmic Kiss“, as the mission is called, had Maurer supporting over 35 European experiments, in areas ranging from human health to the future of space exploration. And they had a bit of time to throw in a waltz in between.
