Back-to-school season is in full swing — I’ve seen countless commercials, ads, and banners plastered across every retailer’s site imaginable. Now, Verizon is getting in on the savings with a pretty impressive iPhone deal.

As of Aug. 6, you can get up to four free iPhone 15 Plus smartphones (whether you’re a new or existing customer) when you sign up for an Unlimited Welcome, Plus, or Ultimate plan with Verizon. So, you can basically get everyone in the family a brand-new phone for just the activation cost.

With this deal, you’ll get the 128GB version of the iPhone 15 Plus (which is usually enough space for most people). It’s available in black, blue, green, pink, and yellow, and has a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display. As for the cameras, there’s a 48MP main camera and dual 24MP and 48MP rear cameras.

Of course, there are some stipulations. The activation fee is $40 for each new line (plus any sales tax and service fees), and it’s a bill credit deal. So, the discount on each phone is applied to your monthly bill. You’ll also have to keep your account in good standing, and you can’t switch to another carrier or an ineligible plan for the full 36 months. If you do, you’ll have to pay the remaining balance on your phones.

Even with all of the fine print, this is a pretty good deal for a family looking to upgrade their smartphones. If you only need one phone, Verizon is also offering a free iPhone 16 or iPhone 16 Pro with an eligible device trade-in, or you can get the Samsung Galaxy S25+ for free if you’re an Android user.
