It’s relatively rare to see a laptop with that much memory in the sub-$600 price range, and it’s even rarer to find a Yoga for less than $500: You can lock it in at just $499.99 if you’re a paid (Plus or Total) member of the My Best Buy program.

    Dell’s 15-inch XPS machine is Mashable’s favorite Windows laptop, boasting a premium build with a stunning edge-to-edge display and powerful specs that rival some desktops. (This particular model has a 13th-gen Intel Core i7 H-series processor with 16GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 graphics, and 1TB of storage.) One of the worst things about it is that it doesn’t go on sale all too often, making Dell’s $450 Black Friday discount all the more welcome.

    Why we like it

    Lenovo’s IdeaPad Slim 5 is a solid mid-range pick for multitasking that has a 1080p webcam, a nice backlit keyboard, and a 16-inch, 16:10 display (albeit with a very average 60Hz refresh rate). This configuration features an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U CPU with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, and it’s an excellent value at just $549.99 — especially considering another IdeaPad Slim 5 with a slightly downgraded Ryzen 5 7530U processor (which has two fewer cores) was $10 more expensive at the time of writing.

    Impressively light and thin, the LG gram 14 2in1 is a premium 14-inch hybrid laptop with Dolby Atmos speakers, a beefy battery, and a 16:10 touchscreen display that you can draw on using its included LG Stylus Pen. LG just put a 1TB configuration with a 13th-gen Intel Core i7 processor and 16GB of RAM on sale for $1,499.99 (typically $1,699.99) as part of its Early Black Friday sale, but we’d recommend holding off for now: The same model has dropped down to $1,199 on Amazon before.

It’s a great buy for basic web browsing and document creation, as most sub-$300 laptops have crappier (older) processors, 4GB of RAM, and slow eMMC storage.
