The Mac mini is normally listed for $599, so this deal saves you $99.01 in total. Fitted with the M4 chip, it’s a device that’s well worth looking into, especially while it’s on sale. Writer Matt Binder even makes the argument that you should get it over the M4 MacBook Pro, if you aren’t needing a portable computer to take on the go.
Binder explains that this is because the “base model M4 Mac mini has the exact same specs, but comes with a slightly smaller 256GB SSD drive.” Given the Mac mini’s usual price of $599, this is “one thousand dollars in savings” over the MacBook Pro. Again, if you’re not needing a laptop specifically, it’s a great stationary pick with a compact design of just five by five inches.
