If you’re looking for a tablet that’s great for kids, Amazon’s Fire range should definitely be on your list. With robust parental controls, educational content, and access to TV and games, the Fire HD 10 Kids Pro tablet is one to check out. Just take a look at what we thought when we gave it a review.
As of Oct. 28, this tablet is currently on sale at Amazon for $109.99, reduced from $189.99. The only other time this model has been priced so low was during the recent October Prime Day, so you know you’re getting a great deal. This tablet is designed for six to 12-year-olds and offers 25% faster performance than previous models. It has a large 10.1-inch 1080p Full HD display that shows off all your kids’ favorite shows and games and runs effortlessly thanks to 3GB of RAM.
The device is fully monitorable too. Parents can manage pretty much everything from their phones, so they can ensure it is being used safely. This includes educational content and authorization of app downloads, such as Netflix and Disney+. And while it has an impressive 13 hours of battery life that can keep kids entertained all day, parents can set up screen time limits.
But most importantly, it comes in three bright colors to suit each personality: Happy Day, Mint, and Nebula.
Amazon advertises the device as perfect for both entertainment and education, but as our reviewer notes, this one is just a little too cool for school.
