The Nintendo Switch 2 will soon be yours, barring any supply chain issues or shortages.

After pulling back the curtain on its new console during a one-hour Direct livestream, Nintendo announced in a press release Wednesday that Switch 2 preorders will open on April 9. It’ll be available as a standalone console for $449.99, making it $150 pricier than the original Switch from 2017, or as a bundle that includes a digital copy of Mario Kart World, one of its two launch titles. Its release date is set for Thursday, June 5.

Nintendo’s supplies have been preparing to sell more than 20 million units this year, according to a January Bloomberg report. That’s 5 million more units than the first Switch, so hypothetically, it’ll be a little easier to find in stock at launch.
