How to preorder the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5

PRE-ORDER NOW: As of July 26, you can pre-order the brand new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 with a free storage upgrade at Amazon, Best Buy, and Samsung, prior to its official release on Aug. 11.

There’s a new flip phone in town, and it’s showed up with a big upgrade — literally.

Samsung announced the Galaxy Z Flip 5 at this year’s Unpacked event, and most notably, the phone’s outer display grew. The front AMOLED cover display of the phone is now 3.4 inches, a significant increase from the Flip 4’s 1.9-inch outer display.

The phone doesn’t officially hit store shelves (virtually or otherwise) until Aug. 11, but it is already up for preorder. Though you have your pick of where to grab it, we do want to note the perks of particular retailers.

How to save on Galaxy Z Flip 5 pre-orders

Pre-ordering from Amazon will get you a free upgrade to 512GB of storage and a $150 Amazon gift card. (If for whatever reason you don’t want the storage upgrade, you can also grab the gift card with the 256GB phone). Best Buy followed suit, offering a free storage upgrade, a $100 Best Buy gift card, and a free one-month membership of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Samsung doesn’t offer any free gift cards, but it does have the free 512GB storage upgrade. Plus, it has three exclusive colorways.
