Samsung is poised to show off its next foldable phones in a matter of weeks, but until then, we have some fresh foldable iPhone rumors to chew on.

This round of leaks comes courtesy of Digital Chat Station on Weibo (courtesy of MacRumors). According to the prolific leaker, the foldable iPhone is in the “testing stage of an unfinalized version,” which means these numbers could be subject to change. Said numbers include a 7.58-inch unfolded inner display and a pair of 48MP rear camera lenses on the device. The leak also suggests the phone will have a hinge made of an “amorphous metal glass composite material” with a titanium alloy chassis.

This comes only about a week after another notable Apple prognosticator, Ming-Chi Kuo, said the phone was nearly ready to enter production for a 2026 release. However, the new leak somewhat contradicts things Kuo has said in the past; the analyst has predicted a 7.8-inch display rather than the 7.58-inch figure in the new leak. Of course, that doesn’t mean anyone was wrong here so much as it means the specs may have changed throughout the design process.

We’ll find out next year, ideally.

While we await new flagships, we’ve seen plenty of budget smartphones and new Android smartphones released so far in 2025.
