Well, that didn’t last long.
OnePlus has removed the download links for Android 12 beta for OnePlus 9 series devices, after numerous user complaints about their phones getting bricked by the update.
“I’ve temporarily removed the download links based on the feedback from users in this thread. I’m sharing the feedback with the software team so they can look into it in the morning at HQ,” an admin wrote over on OnePlus’ official forums.
Most users who have tried updating their OnePlus 9 devices to Android 12 beta say their phones have gotten stuck during the process, with no way to continue.
