Amazon Prime Day is here, sales abound, and everyone wants in on the excitement.
Best Buy is giving us just that with a restock on the Playstation 5 on July 12 at 12pm ET (in addition to its Black Friday in July sales event).
The PS5 is notoriously difficult to get your hands on, so here’s a quick rundown of how you can give yourself the best chances.

You need to be a Best Buy Totaltech subscriber. That means if you’re not one already, you’re going to want to sign up ASAP. It does cost $199.99 per year, but you will have access to other benefits like free Geek Squad support, free two-day shipping, and an extended 60-day return window for most purchases.

Log in and get the PS5 queued up before 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT. Once the clock strikes 12, you’ll want to refresh the page immediately to add the PS 5 to your cart. From there, Best Buy will be placing people in a digital queue. This isn’t guarantee you’ll get the console, but being at this point is a good sign.
