SAVE $250: The Dyson Corrale hair styler straightener typically sells for $499.99, but you can get a factory reconditioned unit on sale for just $249.99 at Woot today (or until it’s sold out). That’s a virtually unprecedented 50% off.

Dyson hair tools are so expensive (and often hard to find in stock) that they’ve spawned a whole secondary dupe market — so when we see any of them go on sale, it’s kind of a big deal.

Here’s an especially major deal on the Dyson Corrale, a premium hair straightener that launched in 2020: Amazon’s daily deals site Woot has “factory reconditioned” models on clearance sale for $249.99, or half off the Corrale’s usual retail price of $499.99. (“Factory reconditioned” is as close to new as you can get when buying refurbished from Woot, FYI.)

The discount is live through the end of the day today (Wednesday, Feb. 15) or until Woot’s inventory sells out, which feels very likely considering we’ve never seen a new or used Corrale this cheap before. The closest we’ve gotten was a Prime Early Access Sale deal at Amazon last fall, where “renewed” Corrales were marked down to $359.99 (or $90 off); they were listed for $389.95 there at the time of writing.

For the uninitiated, the Corrale’s big pull is that it can style with minimal heat damage and flyaways because of its unique plates, which flex around strands of hair instead of clamping down on them. (This checks out, according to our Corrale review.) It also has a built-in sensor system that measures its temperature over 100 times per second, keeping its heat consistent. There are three different settings and an auto shut-off feature that boots down after 10 minutes of inactivity, in case you’re the type of person who never remembers if they unplugged their straightener before running out the door.

Note that the Corrale typically comes in four finishes, but only the black nickel/fuchsia one is up for grabs at Woot.
