Apple’s AirTags might be synonymous with GPS tracking devices, but there’s about to be some new competition in town.

Specifically, Motorola and the Chinese tech giant Xiaomi are said to be working on new location trackers to compete with AirTags. This information comes from a pair of different reports. For Xiaomi, all we know right now is the name “Xiaomi Tag,” which comes from a Weibo post courtesy of tech leaker Repeater 002. There is, unfortunately, no other information in the post, but this would be Xiaomi’s first location tracking device.

As for Motorola, that company already has something called the Moto Tag. However, Android Headlines got the first marketing image of an unannounced Moto Tag 2, with a similar circular design to the first one and two new colors: orange and beige. Android Headlines said to expect a more precise tracker, probably with better battery life than the original.

It’s not yet known when either of these devices will launch, but it sure seems like they’re both happening.
